The Official Residence Of Apostle Safo
Yes, Apostle Safo , like most of biblical heroes, and redeemers, came from a poor home. Circumstances surrounding his childhood and youth were a barrage of fighting for survival. And he survived and has become a distinguished figure with a fierce creative and imaginative faculty. His heroic success in business illustrate the fact which great historians have always recognised, that mankind does not regularly progress by invisible steps but sometimes takes a giant leap often under dynamic force of a solitary outsized personality.
It was neither by magic nor by miracle. Poverty threatened the survival of his early mission but he never gave up. He sold palm kernel oil at Obuasi with his close associate and a renowned evangelist Kofi Sammy. He went into soap called (don't touch me) production at Kensere near Bekwai. Apostle with his early converts will carry the soap in pans on their heads and sell it in Kumasi.
The congregation grew bigger and many branches were formed across the country. Now the number seems to be what he needed to leap frog poverty and make history for the rest of his life. He founded the GREAT KOSA conglomerate and has invested in many businesses:

MISSION OF AGRICULTURE: Aposple's works inspire Ghanaians and Africans; they give hope to a continent which seems to have lost all hopes amidst radical global trend in technological advancement. As a true statesman and a wonderful architect of a positive social change, Apostle launched and led an intensive agricultural revolution in his church, when, in 1983, Ghana experienced the most intensive and prolonged draught in remembered history with ravages of wild fires that swept through the entire country.

Apostle Safo actively doing the clearing himself top and bottom.
He set up farms in Asante Akyem Agogo, Gomoa Domenase, Odembo, Okyereko, Kasoa, Poano and in many other farming communities in the country. several tones of food crops are cultivated every year to date. Apostle Safo, who steers the affairs of Kristo Asafo ( Christ Reformed Church) with an estimated 10,000 members, wonders why Africa still remains poor and continues to be a continental beggar irrespective of all the natural resources and human talents that God has given to us.

Vibrant and energetic members hailed Apostle Safo's call for the agricultural revolution in 1983

Africa's tropical forest is one of the most fertile vegetations that nature has bestowed on us. We could export food to other parts of the world if we pursue good agricultural policies.

Harvesting time - the maize is preserved using local preservative means.

Apostle Safo has also invested in animal husbandry and has different breeds of cattle and sheep in a number of ranches. He has an experimental breeding houses for snails. rats.

He stuffed the lake with variety of fish species and today fishing has become part of the livelihood of the inhabitants of Odembo in the Central Region of Ghana.
When Apostle was about to settle at Gomoa Odembo in the Central Region of Ghana, the village had persistent water problem during the dry season. His aim was to make the place a safe haven so that he could live a legacy for ages. He dug a well to provide water for himself and the villagers all year round. Realizing that the well could not provide sufficient water during the dry season, Apostle went ahead to construct a dam which could harvest all the rain water during the rainy season into the reservoir so that water will be available in the dry season all year round.. As the water level increases over times, the dam overflow its banks and became a great lake which never dried up till today.

With afforestation, Apostle Safo converted a 60 - hectare grassland into a tropical forest by transplanting variety of trees from the forest zone and replanted them on the bare land at Odembo. This could be done nationwide to turn the fast approaching savannah into rain forest

Plant Medicine Department

The Plant Medicine Research was setup in 2005 with the following objectives:
To research into some common plants and their efficacy in the treatment of common diseases like malaria, typhoid , skin and hair disorders
To research into the preparation of natural plant materials into effective drugs for the treatment of diseases.
To look into the processing and packaging of the preparations into various drug administration forms (pills, syrups, injections, infusions, tea bags etc).
To carry out safety trials on animals (rabbits and frogs) look into dosages and duration of treatments of the preparation.
To perform corresponding human trials for the preparations through modern medical laboratory procedures and techniques.
Apostle Safo's vision in this area is to change the face of plant medicine, make it more attractive and acceptable in the country and introduce the administration of herbal preparations via infusions and injections.
With regards to the numerical boost in animal breeding, the division hopes to extend the trials to larger animals like sheep , goats and cattle. The number of trial animals (rabbits) has increased from an initial number of 4 to 150 in 9 months.
Plant materials known to possess medicinal values are carefully selected from various parts of the country. These included:
Leaves
Stem and root bark,
Fruits and seeds.
The materials are then washed appropriately to rid them off any dirt and soil materials. The materials are then usually taken through size reduction procedures including cutting, blending, pounding or mashing. The active medicinal ingredients in the materials are then extracted using series of scientific processes. The medicinal effects of the extracts are usually enhanced by the addition of other herbs or further processing.
The extracts are then processed into various administration forms like pills, capsules, tea bags, injections and infusions. Samples of the preparations are packaged and stored to ascertain their shelf lives. The extracts so prepared are taken through safety tests by administering them to trial animals like frogs and rabbit. This is done through oral administration or where necessary it is ultra filtered and injected or given by infusion. The administration is done at regular intervals and at different rates for groups of the animals over a period of time and is carefully monitored and observe.
After obtaining satisfactory results from the animal trial, the preparations are then taken through human trials. Persons suspected to have particular conditions ate tested by qualified medical laboratory to confirm the presence of the said condition and its degree.
They are then given the preparations at regular intervals and periodic laboratory reports obtained to check any changes in the occurrence of the condition and any other physiological changes that might occur in the patients.

In the case of skin and hair disorders, regular applications of the preparations are made on the affected parts and critical observations made regularly to check any improvements or otherwise.
BREAKTHROUGHS
An effective malaria prepared through fermented of materials from the neem plant and other herbs. This has been successfully used to treat malaria within 3 days of administration.
Typhoid fever prepared from selected materials from the neem and cassia plant. It has been used to effectively manage typhoid fever in less than a week of its administration.
Neem seed oil extracted from the seed of the neem plant has been effectively used in the treatment and management of cough. The oil has also been used, in addition to other plant materials, to manage various skin and hair disorders. Animal breeding prepared from careful fermentation of neem leaves and extracts from lime and sugar cane. The preparation was given to a male and female rabbit through infusion over a period of 4 weeks. A cross of such treated parents yielded up to 16 bunnies, a deviation from the 4 or five bunnies usually seen in normal rabbits.
