Ministry Of Trade And Industry Purchase Brand New 4×4 Kantanka Onantefo SUV
The Ministry of Trade and Industry has also followed suit after Asantehene and Okyehene purchase of the Kantanka Onantefo, by purchasing one of the 4x4 SUVs manufactured by the company. The ministry took this initiative yesterday, thec18th of May 2017 after a brand new sleek Kantanka Onantefo SUV was delivered to the offices of the ministry.
The Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng who took the delivery of the vehicles iterated the government's support to local enterprises and to support the initiative of building an effective and efficient automobile industry in the country which is in line with the government's agenda to industrialize the country and expand the manufacturing sector.
The Ministry of trade and Industry in their support to expand the local industry and the private sector in the manufacturing has acquired a brand new sleek 4x4 Kantanka Onantefo SUV from the company in line with the government policies.
The Ministry took the delivery of the Kantanka 4x4 SUV by the company in the offices of the ministry in the Accra around 4pm.The vehicle was delivered by the Top Management of the company which included the CEO and Managing Director, Kwadwo safo Jnr and Mr Francis Kudjo Kudoji respectively, to the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Alan Kyeremanteng
The Minister upon receiving the keys to the new Kantanka Onantefo SUV said that the ministry's purchase of the vehicle was to show the government's commitment to its manifesto and promises made to Ghanaians in respect of its quest to patronise local made products and to boost the morale of the private sector. He further stated that the government is putting in place a strategic plan to expand the local sector in the area of manufacturing and also to make trade policies flexible as this will enhance the productivity of the private sector.
Mr Alan Kyeremanteng, the Minister for Trade and Industry also acknowledge the efforts of the company and showed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Kantanka group of Companies and Kantanka Automobile, Apostle Dr. Ing. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka for this determination to assist in the industrialization of the country . He finally stated that his ministry was not only excited to purchase the Kantanka brand but the fact that the KantankaOnantefo SUV was quality and could be compared to similar vehicle of the same model by the top automotive manufacturers.
The Kantanka Onantefo SUV was later inspected by the staffs of the ministry of trade and industry and that commendations were given to the Chairman of Kantanka Group and Management and staffs as well as workers of Kantanka Automobile Company for their efforts.
