Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo Donates 100 Bags Of Cement To Aid In The Construction Of Agbogba Mosque.

Yesterday, my Constituency Organiser, Mahmood Asamoah, together with the Electoral Area Coordinator, Robert Andoh, on my behalf, presented 100 bags of Cement to the Imam and Ummah of the Agbogba Mosque.

This was in fulfillment of a pledge I made towards the ongoing construction of a decent Mosque for worship when I observed EID prayers with them on the commemoration of this year's Eid-Ul-Fitr Festival on June 15,2018.

It is my hope and prayer that Allah will see through the completion of the Mosque.

Apostle Safo Donates GH 500,000 To Rebecca Foundation

The Founder and Leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, Apostle Dr Ing.Kwadwo Safo, has donated GH 500,000 cash to the First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akuffo-Addo, to support her initiative to build a new mother and child care unit for the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.

Making the donation to the First Lady in Accra last Friday, Apostle Safo said the donation was the contribution of the church towards the project intended to save mothers and babies at the hospital from needless deaths.

The new mother and child care project is to vert the numerous deaths recorded over the years due to lack of space, facilities and other equipment at KATH.

In May 2017, the First Lady cut the sod for work to begin on the project which is expected to be completed in four months.

Campaign

A campaign by the First Lady to raise funds towards the project yielded GH 6,170,686.23 in cash and GH 1,489,500 in pledges in pledges in both Accra and Kumasi.

The campaign, dubbed "Save a child, save a mother", is hoping to an initial GH 10 million. Work on the project is currently at the lintel level.

The congestion at the Mother and Child Care Unit at KATH in Kumasi reached an alarming stage, leading to the deaths of several pregnant women and their babies.

Before the campaign, the labour ward had eight beds and two delivery beds, while the maternity block had two theatres, of which one was only functional.

The nursery had only 24 cots, although the hospital delivers about 15 babies on an average daily, in addition to many baby referral cases, a situation that caused congestion at the nursery.

Due to the limited number of cots, four or five babies had to share a cot, situation which caused infection and reinfections among babies.

Apostle Dr Ing. Safo praised the First Lady for initiating the project.

He recounted how he had on behalf of Kristo Asafo supported children's homes, rehabilitation centres, orphanages, prisons, hospitals, schools for the blind, deaf and physically challenged with food items, clothing, sewing machines, wax prints and cash for over decades.

Commendation

Receiving the donation, Mrs Akuffo-Addo commended Apostle Kwadwo Safo for the wonderful and kind gesture which would help in the completion of the first block, which was nearing completion, and called for more support and collaboration.

The Founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghan, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, has presented items worth GH 12,500 to the Mephibosheth Training Centre (MTC), an institution for phisically and mentally challenged children at Apam in the Central Region.

The donation, which included 50 bags of cement, bags of sugar, maize, gari and other products was in commemoration of Apostle Safo's birthday to be marked on August 23, 2015.

Apostle Safo also gave each of the teachers and management members of the institution a wa print and cash for their commitment to improving the welfare of children.

The donation was made on his behalf by one of his daughters, Ms Sika Safo. A sod was also cut for the construction of a dining hall for MTC, which currently has 60 children.

Children excited

It was a day of joy and great excitement for the children when the leadership of the Kristo Asafo Mission, headed by Ms Safo, visited the institution.

Each of the children was also given a package of food, drinks and souvenirs. Presenting the items, Ms Safo said the gesture formed part of the annual programme to celebrate the birthday of Apostle Safo.

According to her, Apostle Safo, over the past years, had celebrated his birthday with the less privileged and also used the occasion to assist the needy institutions.

Touching on why Apostle Safo chose the MTC, Ms Safo said the founder learnt of the predicament of the children in a recent documentary shown on Utv, adding, "since that day, he resolved to do something about the children's condition".

MTC grateful

The Founder of MTC, Mr Joseph Jehu-Appiah, commended Apostle Safo for the support and love he had shown the children.

He said since the centre was established 10 years ago, the management continued to serve the needs of the children despite the numerous challenges it faced.

Mr Jehu-Appiah, therefore, called on other agencies to come to the aid of the centre to enable it to support the children.

Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Donates Kantanka 4×4 To Ghana Police Service

Of course Ghanaians can do a lot of things but the problem lies with those in leadership and also those in the bottom-who see everything foreign superior and everything local inferior.

For many years, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo has been inventing things- ranging from robots to aeroplanes and though his Kantanka cars are yet to go on commercial sale, a donation of a Kantanka Pick-up has been made to the Ghana Police Service  and to be frank, it looks beautiful and well put together.

Ghanaian actor-John Dumelo who is a friend of ApostleDr. Kwadwo Safo's son - also called Kwadwo safo was recently spotted driving one of the Kantanka Ghana made cars. And we thought it was a good move to have the star take pride in Kantanka inventions.

The donated vehicle pictured above is beautiful-with the people of Ghana and the government's support, imagine what this man and his company can do?

Proudly made in Ghana but unappreciated by Ghanaians and the government, instead, we will go to India and pay them millions to import their cars for our seurity forces when we could award the contract to Kantanka...
